Innovation Expo 2001ITEE Innovation Expo 2001 is over again for this year. Over 200 projects were on display at Mayne Hall at the University of Queensland's St. Lucia campus on Tuesday, 30th October, 2001. The projects were the work of the final-year undergraduate students from the School's Electrical Engineering, Information Environments and Information Technology programmes. They ranged from interactive robot soccer to mobile videophones to Internet probes. The organisers would like to thank all of the students, staff, sponsors, and guests who participated in the Expo and helped to make the event such a great success again this year.
A CD-ROM of the proceedings of this year's ITEE Innovation Expo will be available shortly. Our invited guests are reminded that they can receive free copy if they will leave a forwarding address with Ms. Rachel Linde on 07 3365 3984 or by email to r.linde@itee.uq.edu.au. ITEE Innovation Expo will return next year. Please keep your diary free for Tuesday, 29th October, 2002, when the Innovation Expo will be held at the University's brand new UQ Centre. Next year's event promises to be the biggest yet! - Vaughan Clarkson
