Innovation Expo 2002 : Location
Innovation Expo will be held in
the New UQ Centre, a multifunction indoor centre opening in July
2002.The UQ Centre is located on the University's main campus at St
Lucia in Brisbane.
The UQ Centre will be a premier venue for graduation ceremonies, exhibitions, conferences, banquets, and cultural and sporting events, and will prove to be a perfect venue for Innovation Expo 2002.
This icon building is located adjacent to the academic core and existing sporting facilities of UQ on Union Road, and takes advantage of the views over the ovals, adjacent parkland and the river beyond.
The formal evening programme and other invited seminars will be held in the UQ Centre's Secondary Hall.
