Intelligent agent for email information processing Exhibitor: Weiming Woon Supervisor: Zhao Dong Research Group: Complex and Intelligent Systems Industry Sector: Information and Communication Technology (ICT) ![]() Electronic mails have become one of the main communication tools between people around the world regardless of their physical distance. The main motive of this project is to enhance the intelligence level of Microsoft Outlook with additional functions that can provide end-users with utmost usability and functionalities. However, the designing of an effective email sorting algorithm will not be neglected. The designing of the algorithm will require continual effort involving various batches of thesis students. The current Microsoft Outlook requires an algorithm which can effectively assess the incoming emails before distributing them to the respective folders. A feature to handle sensitive emails will be also be implemented to assist the users in safekeeping incoming emails which may become an unfavorable documental proof of topics against the user. Further discussions will be made based on the algorithm used in data-mining the information from the received electronic mails and future implications for the project are also discussed.
